I am looking for the original owner of my 1971 911 S. It was purchased at Holberts on May 4, 1971 and traded in one year later at Algar Porsche Rosemont, PA ( thru salesman Randy White). Its serial number is: 9111300570. It is silver metallic with factory air conditioning. I am restoring this car and wondered if anyone in this region might remember this car back in the day. Any leads would be greatly appreciated !! George Kehler in Tennessee.

Is that all you have? I live in the area where ALgar used to be, so if you had a name of the buyer at Algar it would really help.

Hi Chris !!! Thanks for the reply !! The second owner is Paul DeFriece who was in college at Radford College in VA. His father bought it for him on the condition that the car have roll bar, 5-point restraints, and driving lights. These were installed at Al Holberts raceshop behind his fathers dealership. Does anyone recall that Al Holbert would do this for customer cars ?? When I got the car it still had the restraints and rectangular driving lights. The holes for the rollbar are still there. Then, the car made its way to Bristol, VA where DeFriece was from and then thru two owners who worked at Tennessee Eastman plant in Kingsport, TN. George Kehler in Johnson City, TN

Hey Guys !! Just an update to my 1971 911S sold new at Holberts and one year later at Algar. Basically the car is 95% finished. There is a long thread on the early 911s Registry about the restoration. Does anyone recall this car, poss in the Philly area ?? Any old timers remember this car ?? George Kehler
