We figured the reason for the beach sand is the whole Country Club theme that they have at VIR. That's why I said "Just like you're at the beach".

Friday: Periods of rain, mainly between 8am and 2pm. High near 56. North wind between 7 and 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

Friday Night: Showers likely, mainly before 8pm. Cloudy, with a low around 34. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Saturday: A chance of showers before 8am. Partly cloudy, with a high near 49. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 28.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 52.

Sunday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 35.

Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 60.

I am at the track now and it is stunning...the track is just amazing...



I got to ride with no less then 2 instructors and 2 other fairly fast cars...

I also found out...that a AM V8 Vantage...will DAMN NEAR hit 15X mph on the back straight...and has a hell of a brake system...


I hope the weather doesnt turn too wet...but it will still be lots of fun...
As it turns out, my instructor is here aswell (Gary Church) and his RGT was smashing the living horse pucky out of these Ferraris...was great to watch...
