the track was an accident waiting to happen.  that wall was VERY close to the track.  It reminded me of how close the walls get at Shenandoah for the pit straight (not used by RTR).

Not really a track.  More like an autocross - he was driving through a set of cones.  Barrier was there to protect the camera people - good thing.  And it was just a joy ride in the movie director's Enzo.  It had absolutely nothing to do with the actual movie "Redline" other than it killed the star of the movie, the Enzo.

He has been in a few movies - he coined the term "Man Whore" and "Mangina" in the movie "Deuce Bigalow, Male Giggilo" in the hot tub scene.

Thanks for posting that Marty.  We have watched it quite a few times here at work.  Great video.   I like how he doesn't go to the brakes until after the car turns completely around after the crash.  If you watch the steering angle he has the car almost on the right lock and the car just goes straight.  Reminds me of a 911.  If he had lifted he would probably have backed it in.  Why, when they know they have not a clue how to drive, someone would do that in someone elses car regardless of how much money they have or think they have is beyond me.

My sister bought me the DVD while I was working in Chicago so I'd have something to watch on the plane. So, let's just say I was able to watch it on the 2 hour flight back and forth between Chi-town and Allentown on more than one occassion. I flew that flight every week (out and back) for 3 1/2 years.

It seems that the ultra-high performance ferrari's have a tendency to wash out the front end at relatively low speed. I saw this same thing happen to another guy with an F-50 I think (although it was a little damp out). I'm guessing that at low speeds, the car doesn't hanlde worth a darn but over 150, it sticks to the road like glue. It didn't appear that he was going that fast when it happened.

I take it back... I just watched it again and he was starting to move pretty quick.
