*************** DATE CHANGED **********************

Run will be this Saturday 4/14 NOT Sunday 4/15 for obvious weather reasons. Hope you can still make the run. All other details remain the same. Hope you can make it.

Thanks Tony for bumping this for me!

For all those that PM'ed me, this is not a drill - Yes, the above note is real.

The weather is looking crappy for Sunday and shows no sign of change (much as I'd hoped that it would), so rather than risk having a miserable time on Sunday and half of you not showing up, we decided to change the event to Saturday - same place, same time.

I'm sorry that some of you cannot make it - Tony and I are not happy about the change, but it was either change or risk noone showing. We're was looking forward to meeting you guys and I know that everyone has been excited about this for a while - more the reason that it was a hard call for us to make in changing the day.

I hope that we still see most of you there!

Guys - if you'd already got a free pass from the wife  Confusedhock: to go on the springfling, why not come out to the 1st ever RTR AutoX+ roadshow event of 2007 at Warminster instead ..... which will go ahead regardless of rain, snow or shine ........ (only reason would be cancelled would be lightning .. but no sign of lightning in forecast).

The more the merrier ----- See announcement on Autocross section for more info

yes, but we are still running on Saturday, even though the rain is predicted to be bad on Sunday.

Many thanks to all those who attended today - we had a great turnout - wonderful cars and the driving conditions were A+.

I'll post photos and a review later... once I get them off of my camera. Smile

Okay, I finally got my pics posted to a web page that you'll find here:

http://web.mac.com/wellardmac/iWeb/Sprin...Fling.html

The turnout was great, despite the last minute change of day - we should certainly do another drive in the summer!

This might be a tough drive to beat. This route will be a keeper and we'll do it again at a later date.

Thanks again to all that attended - if you have photos that you wouldn't mind sharing, please drop me a note - I'd love to see them and if you give permission I'll even post them onto the webpage with photos that I collect from others.

The guys who came along to photograph us along the route will give me their photos on Monday, so expect a big update on Monday evening.

Mac,

Nice job! I've been on many runs, rallies and TSD rallies and this run & route was excellent! You should be proud of your prep work.

Thanks Tony - your help was also apprecaited!

It was a lot of fun and (and work), but today made it all worthwhile - having people show up in numbers and have a good time was all the mattered. Nothing beats seeing a parking lot full of Porsches. Smile
