This will be my first trip to WG and my first DE. I'm tempted to trailer my car up. Does anyone know of place where I can rent a lightweight auto trailer? I'm up near Quakertown, so from the LV down to the outskirts of Phila would be doable for a pickup.

TIA.

I've never done it, but I have heard of people renting trailers from a U-Haul. The issues with them are that they are not always in good repair and that reservations are not always honored. You might also consider asking a local trailer sales company if they will rent to you.

If you manage to get a trailer, make sure your vehicle has the proper GVRW.  The town of Horseheads has become a trailer nightmare by stopping alot towing vehicles and handing out fines, etc.    Have a great time.Wink

CB,

I have rented trailers from U-Haul and have not had a problem with them.  Maybe I was just lucky.  Hope you find one close to you.
