A few months back, Steve Meenan had an informative article in der gasser about items that should be replaced periodically in older car (with some emphasis on DE) including oil lines.  Also, there has been quite a bit written about the periodic repairs on many other model, but not much on the 996's

I want to stay on top of the maintenance and keep it running well.  Besides regular oil changes and track maintenance, what should we be doing and at what intervals?

One thing I'll mention Steve, is that after you put on the PSS9's, you have to keep an eye on the upper strut mounts, front and rear.  They both eventually rip out due to the increased spring rate -- depending on how hard you are driving of course.
