For every issue, you will always have 10% of people with a view to the far right and 10% of people with a view to the far left. Therefore, when making important decisions, I try to consider what would be best for the 80% of people (the normal ones) in the middle.

Yes, you can't please everyone, so don't try to. But, you usually can please the 80% in the middle, and never bow to the 10%'ers!
