Thanks for posting the pictures. I wondered if any had been taken.
As for your other comments...
i) course walkthough:
I walked the course several times, but obviously this one gate looked different when I was driving in my car and I just had problems with it.
ii) timing:
The speed is not relevant to me, the challenge is tight handling at speed and learning car control. This particular course I was able to drive single handed - I know I'm a bad boy! - without any stress.
I'm not a speed freak when it comes to AX, plus I don't do this for competition. My professional life is highly competitive, so I don't do competition in my spare time, otherwise my blood pressure would never come down.
iii) paintwork.
Yes, I'm a perfectionist. I buy nice things and preserve them like new. Things like paint dings drive me nuts - that's why my other cars are 10 years old and look like new. If I were to put my car in high wear situations, then I'd have bought an older Porsche. hock:
