A couple of days ago I was talking with a Boxster owner who just moved to the area and is eager to take his car to the track. He willnot be settled in time for our Pocono event but he's looking to our Thunderbolt event. Not that it may matter for a first time track experience all that much, but I think Brian is right that Lightning is a simpler track to get someone around the first time.
