I couldnt put down that 2:07, that was Ryan Eversley who has been driving that car with that setup the whole year. I think he is just used to the way that car handles and doesnt want to change because its uncomfortable (understandable to a degree). However, for Cory and I, the car was just a monster problem in the handling department. Both of us were questioning our abilities throughout the short practices and the race as the car was just not fun. For comparison, other Porsche teams were running 2:03s and 2:04s with their cars...something was DEFINITELY off about ours. I KNOW I need work as a driver, but its pretty hard to concentrate on ones self when the car just feels so wrong. Paul Schwartz was working the 21, so at least I knew someone and it was great to have him helping me out. I guess I would have liked to run something stiffer than 5 and 6 hundred lbs...even just to try. Im fine with how we finished I guess...but Im not thrilled and feel I could have done WAYYYYY better but just had too little (time, knowledge...etc) to do so for this event. As one disclaimer though, the tires that GA uses IMHO blow and vary by SECONDS per set...some are ok, some are complete crap. So a good part of this may be because of the crap tires magnifying an already sub-par setup.

BUT...I will be doing GT stuff next year, so I look forward to that.
