Perhaps I wasn't clear on the previous post. Whether the funding comes from the taxpayer or privately, I suggest there be a "cap" on the amount a party is allowed to spend. The intent here would be to afford equal exposure and open the door for additional parties. With the present state of things, there is no way a third party can compete.
