Everyone,

Thanks for the help, this is great info! One other question that all this has brought up is, everyone's saying get new (ie different) rims with the winter tires. I hadn't really considered new rims, just swapping out the tires with the OEM rims. Then I wouldn't have to worry about the tire pressure sensors (I hope). I would have the tire shop do the changeout as it's definitely not something that I would attempt by myself (even if I had the second set of tires on their own rims). But from what all's said here, it looks like the risk of damage to the rims is kinda high....
