Make sure it has abs so you aren't flat spotting tires and use Pilot sport cups as while they are expensive they last forever.

My guess is the car didn't burn to the ground although if it did track insurance will cover the car. Manufacturers warranty will cover the failure unless mods were done. That's how the pile of ashes would be made a whole car again.
