The driver of the car got new track wheels/tires but they didn't get lugs with the wheels. The place that provided the lugs gave him the wrong pitch. The lugs were torqued to 80ft-lbs with an impact wrench. The driver wouldn't have known that anything was wrong until they sheared.

This is in the comment field of the video and is what I had heard at the time it happened.... Confusedhock: Jeez Nick, I thought you knew everything? Wink
