I think Terry and Dave take the prize for the most coveted and varietal list of cars.

Josh, you're right about the Jeeps.  Dependable and utilitarian in all conditions.  Between this platform and the Minivan, Chrylser/AMC developed the progenitor of two entire classes of cars in the past few decades.  Quite a feat.  The Mercedes SUVs are more refined and have better ride quality, but dollar-for-dollar the Jeeps are better.

I think the best products to come out of the Daimler merger include the Crossfire (SLK underpinnings/motor) built in Germany with better sheetmetal than the MB counterpart.  The other would be the 300/Magnum variants.  Fusing a Hemi with Mercedes suspension, transimission, and braking components sounds like a great idea to me!


Is it true you are looking to sell the Mazda racer?  Any thoughts as to a track worthy replacement?
