State Farm in PA changed the policies about three years ago to exclude anything on the track, just as Brian notes. It was a sad day!
Don't be misled by what your agent tells you--read your policy. SOME policies do not exclude all "on track" driving, but State Farm in PA and many others do. What your agent tells you will not bind the insurance company.
(In the UK it is common to get insurance for racing, but it is expensive. I have not bothered with that.)
