It was an awesome 4 days in Daytona with perfect weather and lots of great racing. RTR members Lainey Drake and Steve Landstra started the Rolex weekend out by being Married in Victory Lane Thursday afternoon.  The whole RTR group that was in Daytona attended and the ceremony was the headline on the front page of the Daytona news paper.

Porsche was much more competitive this year in GT.  Brumos made a great effort and Hurley certainly showed what a great driver he is even at age 60.  Paul Miller Racing, Mangus and of course TRG all showed that Porsche 911's are among the finest sports cars in the world for endurance racing. The 2 Ferrari's entered in the race = the rolling chicanes.

The race was a sprint from the start and the Flying Lizards machine was amazing to watch early in the race.

Attendance at this years race was over 50,000,  the largest crowd ever for a Rolex 24.

More to come later when I get home and sort out the pictures.

On to Sebring for what looks to be 4 equally good days of driving fun for me.
1995 993 - Track car
1994 965 - Race car
2002 Boxster - Her car but I get to drive it
2008 Cayenne S - Her daily driver
2006 Ford F-250 crew cab diesel - Porsche Suppport Vehicle & Tow truck
