Here are a couple links from "the Garage Journal" web forum specifically about the MaxJax lift. There are numerous other threads on this sight about the MaxJax as well as a great many other types of lifts. Probably TMI, but it should help you make a decision. I'm partial to two post lifts  because my car is a front engine/rear transaxle design. If access to the complete under body of your car is a factor, and height is not, a twin post lift may be a better solution in the long run.

My $.02 (soon to deflate to $0.01) worth.
