Now that the holyday party is over, I can think for a few days ahead. I have talked to a few of the guys going to the Dec 10th event. There will be guys testing and trying new rides. Some shaking down their rides before the next race (the following weekend) and some just to get the bug out just before the winter season. From what I have heard, about 18 cars will be there, very low keyed event where most will be driving in open track time. No run groups, so you will have a great disparity of drivers and vehicles with different speeds. The safest way to negotiate this is to be aware of your surroundings while on track, specially in your rear view mirror to give timely point by's to drivers behind you.
I may be down to see my friends and instruct. If you want, I can instruct you, but we will have to do some classroom instruction beforehand to learn varous things before sitting in the car.
