I have 141000 miles on my VW Golf rotors, still OEM from new and finishing my 2nd set of pads.  On my 911, I changed my front rotors in June after they have been on the car since 2003, yes, 2003.  They are not original Porsche, brembo or whatever.  They are cheap slotted rotors from Coleman, $500.00 a pair.  The rears are still on from 2003 and they are the usual drilled, Zimmerman rotors.   I use Porterfield race pads on the 911, year round and high performance street pads on my street cars.  These pads are very rotor friendly, but more important, is the way one drives.  Use the brakes as little as you have to and less if you really wana go fast.  BRAKES are over rated anyway!Big Grin
