Well, the track simulation may be rather accurate, but I can assure you that the local scenery is quite a bit different! To see the real thing, you can google YouTube videos of the planned F1 circuit, although some I have seen are actually being driven in counterclockwise direction (the Hudson River should be on your left went on lower elevation portion, i.e., River Road). The area immediately around the course is indeed rather nice, with spectacular views of NYC, but walk into town a couple blocks and some areas have much less eye appeal. It will be interesting to see if these areas get improved a bit. The area could use it. I can't wait! (I know, I'll have to- it's two years away....)
