Wanted to pass along that we're putting together (trying, at least) a tour to Rausch Creek Off Road Park on May 12th. Once we get there, wanted to give their Off Roading 101 Class a try. Anyone interested in trying something like this? Would be open to Cayennes or other off road capable vehicles (Jeeps, etc.).

To get an idea of what the class is all about, they have a forum going on their website at www.rauschcreekoffroadpark.org. Look under Off Roading 101. (Don't be too worried when you see the main photo on their website of a guy climbing a boulder. That's grad school, not 101.) 101 is a class that they do for the public, so its not an RTR run class.

From their Feb class someone took videos, so you'll really get a good idea of what types of trails they go on (this class went out on the trails in the snow). Just go back one layer in the section of the forum that their website takes you to, then look for topic "next class Feb __".

It's a full day, starting with a classroom session then off to the trails for several hours.

More details and sign up info on the RTR website soon.

Anyone interested in trying this? I'll be taking an 11 Grand Cherokee.
