I will chirp in on this one. I am in the leather business. Lexol is an excellent leather dressing and will keep moisture in the hide. Do not use the Lexol cleaner/conditioner as this contains an abrasive for cleaning and will lift some of the finish. For cleaning I recommend a bar of Ivory soap and a terry wash cloth. Ivory is pure soap with no additives and will not dry out the leather. (do not use Ivory dish washing detergent as this has additives that lift grease and they will effect the finish.) Put the bar in a dish of water and get the water good and soapy. Wet the wash cloth with this and wipe down the seat. Rinse out the cloth and wipe the seat again. dry with a terry towel and then apply the Lexol.
