Watkins Glen DE July 27-29 CANCELLED

To ALL Participants,

It is with great regret that I inform you that the 2012 RTR Watkins Glen Event set for July 27-29 has been CANCELLED. The reason for the cancellation is due to track repairs that must be made prior to the NASCAR event. Here is an excerpt from the email we received from the track officials at 3:11pm EST today:

"I regret to inform you that due to critical track repairs that need to be completed before the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, we are forced to cancel your track rental on July 27-29. I understand that this is very short notice and I truly wish the circumstances were otherwise. I know this is upsetting after all the work you put into this event but please understand that it is unavoidable. "

Please know that over the next week or so, in addition to checking into an alternative weekend, we will be issuing 100% refunds to all who were confirmed for the event. Please understand that It may take some time to get through over 150 participants, so I would only ask that you please be patient with us and thanks for your understanding.

Please note - The Tech session scheduled for tomorrow at Dougherty Automotive in West Chester, PA has also been CANCELLED. Don't forget to cancel any hotel reservations you may have made for the event.
