RTR members have proved once again that they know how to come out and support a cause. With the weather threatening most of the morning, our club packed the lot, accounting for most of the showing. We had ZERO american makes and ONLY ONE Italian entry.
That said, it was the best attendance I've ever seen for a crummy weather show. We made up almost half of what attended last year in the sun; not too shabby. And again, much of the showing was RTR. Too early to tell what accumulated in terms of profits, but the auction went very well and there was a donation jar with some significant contributions.
My special thanks to the volunteers, and to the attendees that came. People seemed to be having a great time despite the wet stuff. Thank-you for your support for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Hopefully next year will have sun!!
