Hi,
I watched a Youtube video for replacing front brake pads, and felt pretty confident with what needs to be done. Pulled the cotter pin, and started to tap the Rod, to release the pads. Here is my dilemma, the rod only budge a quarter inch, shot a little WD40, and was able to move it another quarter inch. Could not get it to budge any further. Tried to see if the pin would turn slightly, thinking the rod was stuck on the opening. Has anyone encountered this issue? Any suggestions?

We are going away for vacation, so I put everything back at the moment. Kind of embarassed as I have replaced brakes on other cars, first timer on the Cayman.

Thanks

Bill
