Charlestown WVa has lots of lower end hotels and a casino. Gambling, all you can eat buffet, and steakhouse.

Winchester VA is a historic town with a walking promenade through its center. Winchester has several British style pubs, shops, and fine dining.

Two hotels are within eye site from the Berryville Pike, Winchester exit of Interstate 81. To your right is a Hampton Inn and to your left is a TownPlace by Marriott. Both are new, clean and comparably priced.

If neither of these are to your liking, one exit south, about two miles, gets you every hotel chain.
