Hello All:

I'm wondering if anyone has access to a Durameteric tool that would allow me to set codes on my 987.1 Boxster? Although it looks like a powerful tool, I'm not sure I want to spring for a multi-hundred-dollar tool to make a quick adjustment.

My issue is the TPMS sensors. The batteries in mine have gone and since I've got an air compressor in the garage and monitor my tire pressure very closely, I don't really rely on the TPMS to tell me when there is a problem. And having to clear the error every time I start up along with the annoying dash lights is just getting old. Seems like disabling the system would take all of 15 mins if I had the right tools.

If anyone has one and would be willing to let me use it, I'd be happy to drive to wherever you are and slip you a nice bottle of wine/bourbon/beer or a few bucks! Whatever it takes, really!

thanks,
scott
