I was in the carousel when the plume of dust rose. Took the flaggers a long time to get the black flag out.

The car backed into the tire wall, shattering the left rear bumper. The damage just looked to be cosmetic, though, and the driver taped it up and ran the next session.

Judging from the video only (and that's all we have), I think he did not track out all the way and got on the throttle too hard for his steering wheel position. I wish we could see his hands in the video.
