Potomac does three sessions a day, and they are not too long. Same as Zone 1 did last year and last weekend. Zone 1 was a very relaxed pace with a W-I-D-E variation in the drivers and cars. I ran in white last year when I was in blue with RTR and I was in black this year when I am in white with RTR. Al Burt was also in black and we agreed that almost all of the drivers would be in white, if that, for RTR. There was one 997 GT3 I pointed by and the rest I could catch, including some who seemed to slow in the turns to see the sights. It was a great group to practice my traffic management--you know, slowing before T2 so as to not catch people in the esses but picking up enough pace to pass three cars before the bus stop. It made me feel fast, even though I am not.
Nice group of folks, though.
Sorry I'm missing Potomac at the Glen this weekend, but I'll program the DVR and look for Steve trying his new suspension and Maureen in the #48 996 cup car....
