Shenandoah on steroids and three or four times as long. It took me 9 hours on the way up, and about 8.30 on the way back.
Track took a whiile to learn (like Shenandoah), but once you had it in your head you could really fly.
The event was co-hosted by Upper Canada Region, North Country Region, and one other club from the Boston area. Was very well organized and run, mainly by the UCR club. Since the track is kind of out in the boonies and they had 175 cars registered they had catered lunch on Saturday, dinner on Saturday, and lunch again on Sunday out at the track.
This was a three day event for Red and Black drivers, and a two day for everyone else. I think the primary reason for the first day was to allow all of the instructors to become familiar with a brand new track that most of the instructors had not been on before. Hopefully next year they'll have a three day event for everyone.
Long drive or not, I would definetly go back again, especially for a three day event. Had the pleasure of watching two different GT3-RS's going at it. Nice cars.
I have video taken of two different driving sessions - my last session on the first day during which I finally started to feel more confident that I knew where I was going and my first session of the second day chasing a black GT3 the whole session.
As soon as I figure out how to get video from the camera to a PC to You Tube I'll get some footage posted.
