One of the most enjoyable events my son and I have been to (in our admittedly limited DE "careers"). And again a truly educational and satisfying experience with an instructor. (Thank you Bill; I guess I will have to wait a bit longer to move to the black group.
).
I wonder how everyone fared with traffic on the way back. I appreciated the heads up from those who left a bit early and called in to report that they unfortunately encountered serious traffic on 81. But with guidance from a few who remained at the track and had maps (thank you, Carol, as always, and whoever else was involved, maybe Paul and Tom) we avoided the delays with a different route that was suggested. I'm pretty sure it was the Dymant contingent that we followed for much of the way, until we veered off to take the northeast extension -- which, though a bit crowded, moved quickly, for the most part in the 70-90 range.
Again, thanks to everyone who made the event a success. See you at Summit.
