I do not have my policy in front of me but the value of the car is set by data that the insurance company has for each car. In my case for the 993 I had to send pictures and invoices of the modifications on the car and I got the value I requested after submitting my pitcures.

Read the policy closely. It will not cover timed event or events on an oval (not roval) track. The coverage is for DE only and not club racing. It will cover an incident that occurs on the track.

The car is also covered while on the track property for vandalism or accidents in the pits since most street insurance will no longer cover any claim within a racing facility grounds.
