We usually head up ont Thursday. We have about 6-8 356's that meet up and head out Pa Route 6 then shoot north on 14 into the WG.
Thursday night we head into town and have wings & adult beverages.
Friday is the best day. We meet @ Glenora Winery in the morning and head out for a nice long rally at pretty good speeds (navigator still needed ) and we stop for lunch @ WG State Park. After lunch we get 2-3 laps of the original street circuit. It is very cool to have Franklin Street closed getting to full throttle (it only had about 90hp) through the town. The state police just wave us by - pretty neat.
After the laps of the circuit we park the cars on Franklin Street with about 300+ pre 1972 cars. It is quite a nice group of cars.
Around 6pm the actual vintage racers do 2-3 laps of the original street circuit. It is quite cool to see Pre-War and Post-War machinery in action.
Saturday is spent at the track. Everything is spectator friendly. You can walk/drive anywhere around the track and throught the pits. It is very cool to head over to the toe and watch from there or head over to T9 and watch the action.
The 70's & 80's muscle car are a treat to watch as they try and stay on track @ T10.
Over lunch break on Sat we get 2 parade laps @ the Glen. Not the blazing speeds of a DE but I find a way to give myself some room to test a corner or 2 and my 46 year old "baby"
Some head home Sat night but I usually head back to the track for the morning races and split about noon on Sunday.
