So what were y'all drinkin? Busch or Bud?
Back a few months ago I took Paul W's advice and went with my son up to see a race at Grandview Speedway.

He was telling me how "back in the day" (why isn't now back in the day??) there used to be groups of people from the club going up to see races there. My son, Jacob, and I had so much fun, it was a World of Outlaws (sprint car) race and holy crap do these things get moving...in about 200' they go from 50 mph to 130 mph!! Think 700 hp and abput 1000 lbs! And the sound was just incredible (not quite as good as a jet car but almost). There was mud flying and engines roaring, and not once were any of the cars pointed in the direction they were going. In all of the races, practice, and qualifying, I didn't see 1 incident! Incredible!
Anyway great fun......and I'd like to strongly suggest it for the next RTR get-together like this!
