If you decide on the gooseneck, there is a hitch that can mount in the bed of the pickup that is retractable. Ian Carpenter had one and it was great. You would just click it down to use the full bed, yet when you wanted to tow, the ball would click right back up.

I just didn't want you to give up so easily on the goose-neck idea. Smile
