Thank you.

We try hard to do the right thing and as Brian said, we usually can't please everyone (or sometimes can't please anyone), but the feedback is most welcome. Smile

For every issue, you will always have 10% of people with a view to the far right and 10% of people with a view to the far left. Therefore, when making important decisions, I try to consider what would be best for the 80% of people (the normal ones) in the middle.

Yes, you can't please everyone, so don't try to. But, you usually can please the 80% in the middle, and never bow to the 10%'ers! Cool

Actually my philosophy is simpler than that - always try to do the right thing and the world takes care of itself.

Public opinion has never mattered much, as what is popular and what is right are not necessarily the same thing. It's always better to do the right thing than be popular.

Additionally, you have to bear in mind that those that are vocal do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the majority. A loud voice doesn't make you right, it just makes you noisier. Wink

So we all just got jacked?  Because of an unpopular opinion?

So much for American ideals.

Good point. Then again, this is the Porsche Club and it should be all about the noise... from the cars! Big Grin

Agreed it's all about the noise of the cars.

When it comes to everything else in life my general philosphy follows the lines of data, logic, fairness, justice and strictly following the Constitution (or forum rules) - not necessarily in that order. Wink

The ACLU is not always popular, but they are usually right.
