There are really only 2 types of disk calipers, opposed piston and floating.  The priniciples for each type hold regardless of brand.  The biggest difference between different brands of opposed piston calipers is the particular type of pin or clip that is used to hold the pad in place.

Larry,

If you still have space, I'd like to attend. 

Also, I will be replacing my front pads if you would like to use my RS America as a model.  Additionally, a wire for the brake pad sensor, which had been bypassed, disconnected, causing the light to come on.  I plan on reconnecting.  This might be a simple job which you would want to describe to the attendees if you would like to use my car as an example. 

I'm not trying to get out of the work myself.  It's a ten minute job.  Thought you might want to share.
