I'm trading my 2010 911base in tomorrow. Icon it is, but after driving the Boxster S with the top down. I'll buy a Marliyn Monroe poster for my Icon.
Lol.

Couldn't wait till Saturday picked it up tonight. Drove it up from Towson, Md. 149 mile on it. First impression, love the luxury. The sound of the motor is sweet. The manual gear box, is spot on. Can't wait till its broken in to step on it. The 2013 Boxster S, is a much better car then the old one. It's roomier, the level of sophistication has been raised. I'll miss my 2010 911, but I feel as though I have raised the bar a bit with this new Boxster.

Congratulations, you are very lucky. That must have been a hard choice to make, one car vs. another. A very good friend of mine is one of the managers at the store you purchased from. You picked a very good store to purchase from.

Congrats - Aside from my prior comment, I have been told that the new Boxster is a beast.

Enjoy the new toy!

And Vetman - what is wrong with a crotch rocket?

Absolutely nothing. I was just referring to the term "crotch rocket" that some people use in reference to sportbikes. Smile

Thanks for congrats. I have been driving is all weekend, and here are a few impressions with 450 miles on it. The gear box is sweet the steering very responsive. the 20 inch Carrera rims is a good option the car turns flat.

The cockpit is a bit snug but comfortable.
