It looks really nice, and it's pretty new.

In watching the video, my first thoughts were this looks a lot like the high speed flowing design of Mosport and Mt. Tremblat.  But with a name like Calabogie I was thinking it was on the eastern seaboard.  Who would of thought. Looks like some fun Eh!Wink

Looks like it's in great shape. The video is the best in-car systems I've seen.

Who goes there? Is it about 8 hrs?

I would consider going there though it is on the other side of 401 and one would also have to cross the border to so that will add some time coming and going.

Solid 8, atleast!

Do you expect trouble clearing the border?  Smuggling something in the GB?

I voted for VIR, SP, and the Glen.  I'm anxious for the Glen (the one I haven't been to) and would really like to do a double weekend with another club and stay up there in between.

I went to Canada with some guys in an RV for a hockey tournament (we got smoked - 62 goals to 3 in 3 games) and getting back into the USA was a problem. They searched everything, even the stinky moldy hockey ept. This was many long times ago so I'm sure it is tighter now.

Oh Yeah - this last game we played, the local boys tapped a keg - ON THE BENCH!. We could not even compete and they were half lit. Great trip, great beer, great company & Chez Paree!

Last year, I came across the border pulling two motorcycles.  They wanted to registration of both but b/c they were under the seats of the bike and it meant picking the trailer apart, they just let us through.

I think they just want to make sure you are not buying a vehicle in Canada and pulling it home without the proper identification.
