Good luck guys! I won't be able to make it on Sunday. Hopefully I'll be at the next one.

Sean!
I know you can make it even if your car is not so pretty. It is suppose to be a driver's car, not a garage queen.

Well, not exactly, Anthony. They have to be an option for that specific car. Being OEM isn't enough. That said, it looks like they were an option, but it is hard to say for sure. Let's make that assumption and proceed with that unless there is any objection/challenge from anyone.

Did some reading (a few links below) and I believe these were a stock/factory option on the Turbo (code XSE/F) but I'm not sure. Is there a definitive source that folks defer to?

It looks like you have done your homework. All you did was replace OEM seats with a different style of OEM seats, and it looks like they were an option for your car by the links you referenced. They would be stock seats. What this classification is looking for is replacing OEM seats with after market seats that are lighter in weight, thus giving the driver an advantage.

Sounds good - guess that leaves me one mod away from going head-to-head with the GT3s Confused, but happy to bump classes now if there's an objection. Can't say I've seen a TT for sale with race seats but I'm guessing the typical buyer was looking for a luxury car experience (and, being fairly short and lean, I can see where most people would find the buckets uncomfortable).

Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh

We just got back from Disney and depression is setting in.

Looking forward to Hershey. The mean green machine is prepped and ready to roll.

I did not see anything about a caravan. We will be at Cameil Service, mile marker 305, around 6:40. Wheels up by 6:50 to get there by 8.

Below are the preliminary results for our first AX championship series event. Nick took the first place spot in PAX, followed by Daniel and Robert. Competition was tight all around, as half of our drivers were within 1 second of one another in raw time.

Note that these rankings are subject to change as AX car classifications are updated. I have taken a stab at estimating certain classifications for now (based on some intel I gathered at the event) and have marked those accordingly.

As always, please let me know if you see anything in here that looks wrong...or if you would like to challenge the classification of any of the listed cars.

Top 5 Drivers (PAX):
1. Nick B.
2. Daniel R.
3. Robert N.
4. Anthony V.
5. David N.

Top 5 Drivers (Raw Time):
1. Daniel R.
2. Nick B.
3. Robert N.
4. Anthony V.
5. Eric K.

We had a great turnout. I hope to see you all at our next event!

What a battle on the podium for the first race. Looks like there is another contender for the championship cup. Robert, excellent job, keep up the good runs!

Eric, Joe and Dennis, you guys put up some good times, hope to see you back to race with us again.

Also, I would like to congratulate Robert and Angela for welcoming two future autocrossers to our RTR Family. Best wishes and best of luck to you two!

Anthony V.
