Sechsgang, I'll be leaving from the Valley Forge area too, but with you driving a 996 TT, I don't think I'll be much fun on the way up- I'm trailering my '84 Carrera and will likely hold you back. However, if you still are looking to drive up with someone, even a snail like me, let me know. I'm planning on leaving sometime between 1 and 3 PM, depending on how quickly I finish things at the office.

I won't be stopping at the Allentown reststop on my way to the glen.

Tony, the seats are in and ready to roll! I learned a bit by trial and error- I bought B-K brackets to get the right distance between them to bolt in, only to find out that all I needed was to flip the Sparco brackets and use a B-K actuator bar for the sliders. When I get back from WG, my task will be to try and get OG Racing to take the B-K brackets back for a refund!

See you at the Glen,

We had a great time at the glen too.    We were really lucky with weather and ate better at Steve's Weber than we could of at any concession stand.

Now back to work for a couple of weeks and on to SP.

One of the most enjoyable events my son and I have been to (in our admittedly limited DE "careers").  And again a truly educational and satisfying experience with an instructor.  (Thank you Bill; I guess I will have to wait a bit longer to move to the black group.  Wink ).

I wonder how everyone fared with traffic on the way back.  I appreciated the heads up from those who left a bit early and called in to report that they unfortunately encountered serious traffic on 81.  But with guidance from a few who remained at the track and had maps (thank you, Carol, as always, and whoever else was involved, maybe Paul and Tom) we avoided the delays with a different route that was suggested.  I'm pretty sure it was the Dymant contingent that we followed for much of the way, until we veered off to take the northeast extension -- which, though a bit crowded, moved quickly, for the most part in the 70-90 range.

Again, thanks to everyone who made the event a success.  See you at Summit.
