Yes I am.

How about we meet in K-of-P at Chili's across from the mall.

If we leave there around 1:30 it should get us to the track in time to see some of the stuff in the pits and then a round of fuel funny cars and dragsters. We can then go back to the pits and watch them rebuild an engine (in 45 minutes)....

I'm planning on being at Chili's for lunch for those that want to get there early.

Is that what you guys had in mind?

This is weather permitting....

Mike

I can fit three passengers in my car, if anyone needs a ride.  Do we need to order tickets online, or will they be available at the gate?

When is gets closer, let me know the route y'all will be taking as I'm up near God's country already and could meet up with ya.

That early on a Friday makes me a definite "maybe." I'll follow the thread and see how work goes.

I was thinking weekend, but there is a chance I could get out early Friday if that is the best day to see what there is to see. I've never been to a drag strip so my ignorance is boundless.

Tony,
Maybe you can pick me up on the way there.

Chili's at KofP departing Friday the 17th at 1:30 PM? After watching Pink Slips last night on Speed filmed at Maple Grove I'm very eager to do this. Would we see top fuel rails Friday?

If the schedule is the same as last time then we would watch the top fuel cars (both the dragsters and the funny cars)....

Then we would run back to the pits and watch them rebuild the engine... and then warm it up. Confusedhock:Confusedhock:Confusedhock:

I guarantee you will flinch when they blip the throttle....
