I've finally taken the plunge and got seats, harnesses and rollbar along with another set of wheels and tires.  So, I really can't wait for VIR.  It will be my first time trailering (just borrowing), so I would like to caravan down with some others.  If anyone is planning on heading down I-81 anytime Thursday morning, please let me know.

Marty,

Tony and I are planning on going the I81 route and I am sure there will be others who will caravan as well.  We will get this planned closer to the date.  I think it is actually a longer drive for me that way but I95 is such a nightmare anymore that I will hedge my bet with 81.  We usually get a bunch of two way radios so we can coordinate pit stops and gas stops.

81 for Brian and I. Just remember, the dreaded Titan sucks a lot of fuel....so that's a lot of gas stops.

If all goes according to plan, I'll should be driving a borrowed F450 (dualie I think)...  I haven't seen it yet.  I'm sure it's not that great on gas/diesel either.  My friend has a steel/welding business and he's letting me borrow it.

I'll be heading out I-78 from Allentown, so I'll meet up with you guys out in Carlisle.  We'll talk more later as it gets closer, ok?

I would bet on diesel so we will be snifing out the same stops. Many but not all have diesel. And don't have pitty on Tony. Anything towing a brick is thirsty often.

So we have learned that you have an anonomus doner for the truck. Don't keep us in suspense, where is the trailer coming from?
