Pole your opinion.

With all the human rights violations there, we should not be entered as a country in the games.

Again the left has won out.

I will not be watching this year.

Actually, David, it was not the left that won out.  Your "poster boy for the right"  George W. will be there with bells on.

Personally, I won't even watch.  The whole thing has me disgusted!  Until they straighten out and fly right, I am going to try to boycott all Chinese products.

I have been doing that for years now with everything not made or grown here in the USA why do you think I drive a 2 Ford's and a Chevy. I hate how this country has sold out itself.

My Brother!! For once we agree.  Except for the cars.  I only drive German.  Poor as I may be at any given time, I will always have a German car.  I feel safer in them.

That being said, here is what we do extremely well at here in the good old U.S.A....Clothing, High end Stereo, Heavy Equipment, and most importantly....food!

And, we are not being censored by some government that "celebrates" the "Brotherhood of Nations" in the cheap guise of the Olympic Games.

Screw the Olympics.    X Games rule!!!

Guys I agree with your sentiments, but don't think the Olympics are the appropriate venue.  Do not make our athletes suffer the consequences and leave politics out of it for once.  Lets kick some butt!!....

Want to make a statement to the the Chinese?  Limit purchases of products produced there like ccm911 is trying.  (Good luck!)

I could not have said it better myself!

Sports are not politics. Lets not forget, originally the Olympics in Greece were designed to put the differences between the city-states aside for a short time. Afterward they could go back to fighting and disagreeing with political positions.
