What does the group know about motels in the Millville area? I heard good things about the Country Inn in Millville, but I could not get reservations there for several dates when I plan to be on the NJMP tracks, including our advanced day on 9/29. I did reserve it for our DE there on 10/17-19 and the rate was about $80/night.

For the DelVal BMW DE on 8/22-24 the Country Inn was also full, so I reserved the Holiday Inn Express in Vineland. That was $162 for three of the nights and $180 for one night!

New track in a small town too near the Jersey shore seems to add up to few rooms and high costs. What are you planning?

I was planning 3 or so events there this year, but didn't realize the gouging has already begun.  For a close track that is supposed to save us on expenses, it's clearly not doing so.

I will make alternate arrangements.  Not sure what yet, but I'm not supporting the local gougers.

I'm not a real camper, but have camped and enjoy camping.  I know guys who use their trailers for camping.  I also have a tent.  I'd be game for a campground reservation, if you guys would consider that (??) .  What..... $35 or so per night?

Since you have been single handedly been keeping the economy going, I thought you would buy a house close to Millville, with a large garage and install a lift there.Tongue

Check out the garage and driveway on this place, in ground swimming pool, and lots of bathrooms

Does your trailer have a/c? If so, count me in.

Anyone going to NJMP with NNJR Sept 5-7?  Interested to hear feedback on the local hotels.  It looks like there's only 3 hotels in town (Country Inn, Quality Inn & Suites, and Holiday Inn Express) and a couple of hotels listed in Vineland.  I didn't get a chance to check out the camping facilities when I was there last month.  Anyone camping that weekend?

Have stayed at the Quality Inn twice now and have no complaints.  Nice outdoor pool if you want to swim after the track. Only 4 miles to the track and lots of good restaurants right up the road.
