Does anyone know where I can buy a retaining clip for 996 brakes?  It's the very small spring clip that keeps the large pin from coming out.

Porsche only sells a complete kit of spring, pin and retaining clip for $25.  Seems excessive but then again it is a Porsche.

Al,

I am pretty sure Doughterty's has the clips.  My brakes where installed without the clips at another shop and when Dougherty's was servicing the car they put the clips in.

Thanks Brian,

I talked to Bill yesterday and he doesn't have them.

Al, are we talking about the cotler pin?  If so, take one of the others and go to Home Depot or any hardware store.

Steve,

I tried that already.  Nothing close at the stores I tried.  I am still looking for a hardware store that has a large selection.  Not many in the Elverson area.
