Hello to all,

I am a new member to RTR and I just wanted to introduce myself. I was bitten by the air cooled Porsche bug this winter and purchased a 1972 911T in November. I think that I have read this site a few times end to end and the information here helped me not only make my choice but to start the inevitable repair-upgrade cycle. Not to mention helping fuel those sleepless night dreams of both driving and restoring a classic. I think you all know what I mean.  I'm looking forward to meeting all of you and participating in club events this spring. Thanks again...

Welcome Girt, if you hang out here too long you will get the track bug, if you're married, probably want to get into the habit of begging for forgiveness. It's so much easier than asking for permission!  Big Grin Big Grin

Nice car.

Nice car!!!  If it is as nice in person as it is in the photo, I would NOT track it.  I see the early 911s are rising in price lately.

Enjoy the car.

Girt,

Welcome to the club!  We are happy to have you join us.  You will find that we have a great group of people that enjoy getting involved in all sorts of activities.  As far as events go, there is definitely something for everyone.  Please make sure you look me up at an event and say hello.  I'd love to take a closer look at your ride - it looks great.  I really enjoy the classic lines of the older 911's.
