On behalf of Jason and I (joseph), I just wanted to drop in and give a shout out to Myles and the rest of the RTR staff, volunteers, members and non-members alike for a great weekend at Watkins Glen. We were more than impressed with how smoothly and timely the event was run, not to mention the plethora of incredible cars.

In case some of you missed us on the track - we were running the red/black VW Corrado with all the obnoxious decals Big Grin . Hopefully we were able to get in the way just enough not to piss anyone off, but become a good moving scicane for you - you know, to better your driving skills Wink

It was great to meet a few of you - for those of you we didn't meet, hopefully next time. Again, thank you to all for putting on a great event. As many have said, although the weather wasn't great, the company was great. Hope to see you guys soon.

Although I am no Mike Andrews, here are a few shots from the few times I was able to get out to the track and watch - sorry, I most def. did not get a shot of everyone.

I wish I knew there was another Corrado!  My 996 is still down and I didn't want to be the slow guy at the Glen in my Integra race car Smile

Although, I'm on for Summit Point I think Smile  I can hold my own there.

no, unfortunately we won't be able to make summit.

engine is stock 178chp. Car weighs 2505lbs with driver, so about 2350lbs without

if anyone is interested our build thread is here: http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=3030108

Nice! I'm sure several of the lurkers will check it out Smile

My Integra is the same weight but 145 fwhp. I guess with 178 at the crank you might be 160 fwhp or so so the cars should be fairly similar! Too bad you won't make Summit -- I'm hoping Todd will be out with his Probe and Kevin will likely be there with his Corrado.

I also want to thank everyone who helped to organize this great event! Myself and my friends had an absolute BLAST! I was driving black S2000 #17.. This was my first event with PCA RTR and I really hope I will be able to get in for more events!
Again thank you very much! PCA RTR rocks!
