Blue tape is the next best thing to duct tape.  Amazing product.  It's even been known to replace clear bra film with some drivers Tongue

How does the green tape show up in photos? Ghetto as well?

Kevin,

It's not so much the color as the stick figures... uf you really took your time the tape could look a lot better but ,ost people just tear it off in strips.

Be careful with the magnetic numbers. Some of the cheap ones don't have enough stick and the wind gets under the leading edge and they take flight on the straight aways. Some people put a strip of tape on the leading edge to prevent that.

Not to mention if you get dirt underneath it can scratch the paint. That's more of an issue with datker cars.

FWIW, one simple solution that I've seen is contact shelf paper. It comes in big sheets and has pretty good tack. Use a stencil of your car number and just cut them out to your liking.

Mike, that's creative - I like that idea with the stencil.

Now... if I get my number.....

Mike,

I see you like my Impressionistic interpretation of a fine tape job. Actually, that day I ran out of time for tech. Didn't have time to do a proper tape job, if there is such a thing.

I'm edu-ma-cated now. Real numbers from here on out. I also thought long and hard what number to use for my 944. 944 seemed a reasonable choice.
